Disabled Access
At Horsmans Place Surgery we have the following available:
- Disabled car parking spaces located near the side door of practice.
- Wheelchair access to the building via a ramp near the front entrance.
- A disabled patients' WC.
- A hearing loop in reception which is by the appointments desk. Please ensure our receptionist knows you have a hearing aid so she can ensure the loop is switched on and positioned correctly.
Patient services are provided at ground floor level. If you have mobility problems and your doctor is situated upstairs, please tell our reception staff that you need to be seen downstairs. Arrangements will then be made for you to consult with your doctor in a downstairs room.
If access proves difficult to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement. Access audits are carried out on a regular basis.
